Early on The Lang Clan was a group of gamers who had the simple goal to enjoy leisure gaming. Utilizing the strengths of First-Person-Shooters like RtCW and Enemy Territory, Lang could focus on teamplay expanding on the principle that playing with the same folks regularly is more rewarding. Lang has grown from it's humble beginings of an atypical clan to a larger, more robust, online community. It is a key concept however, that Lang is not as much about the gaming as it is the people. Hence, the focus isn't on competition, but rather fun.

Our Ideology

• We believe that online gaming is an outlet for both entertainment and social interaction.

• We believe in a leisure, casual gaming atmoshpere. Games are to be enjoyed. We run our servers upon this belief, so while we do expect our players will play competitively, we want them to do so while having fun.
• We believe in community growth. It is our goal to continue to achieve a high standard of excellence through our servers for our players.
• We believe communication is the key element to community growth. All of our members have joined under the pretenses that they are individuals who can and will make attempts to be social.
• We believe everyone has equal oppurtunity for membership. We do not discriminate by gender, age, location or belief system. Our standards for our members are based exclusively upon conduct and responsibility.

How We Differ

The Lang Family of Online Gaming and Game Development is unique. Many clans recruit players exclusively who excel at a game. We do not seek people exclusively for their skill. Instead we predominantly seek good personalities. While clans are here one day and gone the next, we have been here since 2001, and we are continuing to grow not only in numbers, but in the services we provide. Clans exist predominantly to compete. We do not play to compete! We play for fun. We play together. We play often. We chat and are social while we play. Clans are expectedly gratuitously self-seeking. We want YOU to have a good experience on our servers.
